about

Chad Reynvaan announces his return, bringing forth his latest batch of instantly-familiar American rock songs. 21st Sensory is the anticipated follow-up to 2015’s Strange Twist.

Originally from Aberdeen, Washington but now living in Anchorage, Alaska, Reynvaan offers a refreshing take on good old-fashioned rock and roll. The Anchorage Press called 2015's Strange Twist “happy-go-lucky pop-rock.” Reynvaan has expanded on the sound he was developing with Strange Twist, and was very selective in the tracks he chose to showcase with this release. The classic songwriting, instrumentation, and arrangements harken back to bands like the Cars, Tom Petty, ELO and early Wilco. Reynvaan masterly crafts elements of Americana, Indie, and Psychedelia on the 10 tracks comprising 21st Sensory.

Reynvaan wrote, played, and recorded most of 21st Sensory at his personal Wattage Studio. He did receive a few notable contributions to this release. Producer Mark Ward helped share production ideas with Reynvaan throughout the recording process. Americana recording artist Matt Hopper (Matt Hopper and the Roman Candles) provided backing vocals and guitar on Permanently Lost. Other notable contributions include: Evan Phillips(harmonica), Nick Carpenter(bass, lead electric), Aaron Benolkin(pedal steel), Bryan Daste (pedal steel), James Glaves (electric guitar), Lennie Dietsch(electric guitar), Laura Chartier and Laurence Ward(bgv's)

21st Sensory will be released via Wilderhood Records June 5th 2020.
