The 'Magic of Santa Claus' pulls from my own experiences growing up as the youngest of six children in a household where Christmas time was the ultimate time of year for my siblings and I. The idea of Santa is a metaphor for that precious family time that is more valuable than any material gains during the holidays. I am honored to have this John Budnik Band original holiday tune presented next to so many talented Alaskan artists. Truly, this album is most needed after such a tumultuous 2020 year.
